Acclaimed guitarist, singer, songwriter, band leader and producer Jack de Keyzer’s music is steeped in Chicago blues, the blues rock of de Keyser’s birthplace in London England, Detroit’s Motown, Muscle Shoals’ deep soul, Memphis’ rock and roll, and Philadelphia’s funky soul jazz. Jack de Keyzer has played with many first-generation pioneers of these sounds and styles: Bo Diddley, Otis Rush, Etta James, King Biscuit Boy and Ronnie Hawkins, to name a few.

Wasaga Beach has announced Blue Rodeo and Burton Cummings as the headliners for its Breaking the Ice: A Celebration of Legends, Icons and 50 Years of Sunshine festival. The Juno award-winners and inductees into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame will lead the show-stopping lineup of iconic Canadian performers that have signed on to the festival, which will kick off Wasaga Beach’s 50th anniversary celebrations and mark the grand opening of the town’s new twin-pad arena and library.
