Theatre Collingwood celebrated 40 years with a dazzling gala at Craigleith Ski Club on October 5. JUNO Award-winning pop/R&B artist Sean Jones, The Collective, and special guest Cleopatra Williams serenaded the glamourous crowd under the starry night sky.

Furever Love
October was a busy month at Craigleith Ski Club, with yet another splashy gala fundraiser on the bill. On October 19, the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) celebrated its 25-year legacy of providing care and second chances to pets and pet lovers with its annual Furball. Attendees were given an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming Regional Centre for Pets and People, an exciting new facility that will greatly expand the capabilities of the GTHS.

Rotary Kindness
The Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club indulged guests in an evening of elegance and exquisite cuisine at The Georgian Peaks Club for the Kindness Gala on November 9, to raise funds for the transformation of Moreau Park that will include a revitalized skate park, a year-round pathway, a sensory garden and an accessible playground. The crowd was dressed to impress and let loose on the dance floor with live music all night long.

Pathway to Gold
The Georgian Peaks Club hosted the fourth annual Path to the Podium gala fundraiser on November 30, in support of the six ski racers who are competing at the World Cup level this season. Legendary World Cup alpine ski racers and “Crazy Canucks” Steve Podborski, Ken Read and world championship medalist Laurie Graham were in attendance.
