The 38th annual Georgian Bay Regatta will kick off with a rendezvous on the water at Christian Island on Wednesday, July 31. The following four days of racing will lead sailors on a course through the Georgian Bay Archipelago with stops in Sans Souci, Regatta Island, Kilcoursie Bay and Parry Sound.
The annual event is organized by the The Georgian Bay Sailing Association and is open to mono-hull boats that have valid Performance Handicap Racing Fleet (PHRF) certificates (not required for the Cruising Division but strongly encouraged) and meet all other requirements. Multi-hull and planing hull entrants may be accepted at the discretion of the organizing committee.
Divisions include White Sails, Cruising and Flying Sails.
Registration opens May 1. The online official notice board is located at georgianbayregatta.ca.
