Lorne McDermott is a passionate oil painter inspired by nature and Georgian Bay. He is “hooked on the feeling” when he sees something inspiring while riding his Harley Davidson. McDermott pulls over to sketch the scene and that sketch becomes the inspiration for what he will create on canvas at The Loft Gallery in Thornbury.
He has aspirations to paint Canada from the back of his Harley and is heading to P.E.I this summer for the East Coast stretch of this journey.
