Skiing for Pets
The Craigleith Ski Club played host to numerous events and fundraisers this season that brightened and warmed up a dark winter. The Georgian Triangle Humane Society’s first annual Ski for Pets fundraiser was held on February 2 and the weather complied. Blue skies and fresh powder highlighted a fun and memorable day which raised nearly $35,000 for medicine and hospital supplies to help care for furry patients brought into the GTHS Animal Centre.

A Winter’s Blast
Winterblast, held on February 9, was the 38th Annual Winter Extravaganza to benefit Hospice Georgian Triangle and the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Attendees could choose a day of outdoor fun on the slopes, or relaxation with a yoga class and spa tickets, before enjoying a gourmet lunch and après-ski. All in all, the day raised $17,500 for the hospice.
